What is Chinese herbal treatment (CHT)?

Chinese Herbal Treatment is an individualised herbal treatment which is made up specifically to treat the person's health condition. It is usually made up of between 6 to 10 different herbs (of plant origin) working together to correct imbalances of the person.

* imbalances mean the person may not be "sick", but he/she is not in "optimal health".

Unique Features of Chinese Herbal Treatment

Although Chinese herbal medicine is an ancient medicine, yet it has been effective and become increasingly popular in treating many of the modern, common and miscellaneous illnesses, this is because of its unique features and approaches towards health, illness and the patient. 

Its unique features include individualisation, wholistic & Multi Focus Approach, synergy and non-dependency.

Individualised. Chinese herbal medication is specifically prescribed to treats the health condition of THE PATIENT. Thus, the Chinese herbal treatment is made INDIVIDUALISED to that patient. For example, IBS cases are always related to stress and anxiety. Thus, the Chinese herbal treatment often contains herbs to regulate digestion, improve digestive functions as well as to relax the body, reduce emotional swings and improve emotional wellbeing.

Synergy. Chinese herbal treatment contains many different herbs working together in treating a specific health condition. Not only it maximises the effectiveness of the treatment, it also drastically reduces the side effects which are common to many conventional medication.
